About the Role

As a CAD Designer at LINKVIVA, you will play a vital role in event planning and execution. The CAD Designer would create detailed layouts and 3D models of event venues, helping to visualize event setups and optimize space utilization. CAD designers should also assist in crafting engaging and immersive experiences through innovative spatial designs. Additionally, they might contribute to government events by designing stages, exhibition spaces, and infrastructure layouts for efficient and impactful gatherings.

Specifically, the CAD Designer should:

  • Develop AutoCAD layouts, elevations and floor plans.
  • Implement 3D AutoCAD layouts to assess viability of room dimensions, scenic and screen dimensions, sight lines, audience seating.
  • have the ability to create 2D floor plans and 3D wireframe layouts of general sessions and meeting rooms.
  • Establish, implement and enforce CAD standards, and file organization.
  • Assists with hands-on troubleshooting efforts from production and processes
  • Takes project from concept to production release.
  • Performs maintenance of CAD files in response to engineering changes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As a minimum, you should have:

  • Basic knowledge of fabrication, audio, lighting, video and rigging systems and design
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Events-related experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in relevant technology
