Dubai, United Arab Emirates

About us

Founded in 2003, we've partnered with government entities to orchestrate milestone events, earning global recognition. Evolving from event organizers, we are now artisans, crafting legacies that transcend time— a beginning, not an end. Our impact extends beyond moments, resonating across lifetimes, generations, and cultures. We are the architects of enduring legacies. We are LINKVIVA, the crafters of legacy.

About our projects

At LINKVIVA, we specialize in putting destinations on the map through our meticulous curation of family festivals, sports mega events, city seasonal shows, global influence conferences, destination activations and opening/closing ceremonies. Noteworthy events like Dubai Run, Dubai Ride, MOTB, and MOTN not only showcase our commitment to impactful moments and successful objectives but also reflect our dedication to crafting legacies that resonate far beyond the event itself.

About the role

The Curation Manager is part of our experience team, and specialises in creating the perfect blend of retail and F&B partners for each of our events. This is a varied role, no two days will be the same. You might be curating a food festival, working on a sports exhibition in KSA or some of the largest family festivals in the UAE. If you aren’t actively working on a project, you should be out in the market, seeing who’s new, who’s hot, who’s trending, so we can always provide the best experience at every event we deliver.

Specifically, the Curation Manager should:

  • Know what’s trending in the market, what’s popular, which brands are up-and-coming.
  • Be known in the industry. The brands we connect to should know you, respect you, and should want to work with you.
  • Be a storyteller. The key to success in this role is understanding that each event is different, with a unique audience, and curating an experience that draws people in, engages them, resonates and communicates, creating unforgettable experiences.
  • Be curious, an explorer, always looking for the latest trends, brands, fashions, technology and hot topics.
  • Actively contribute to our experience team, encouraging fresh thinking and creativity.
  • Network and engage with strategic partners, creating long-lasting relationships.
  • Create and maintain a database of content partners.
  • Be confident reaching out and engaging vendors in person, on the phone, by email and via social media.
  • Onboard and manage vendors for each project, ensuring that contracts, permits, reports, invoices and payments are completed.
  • Gather feedback from vendors after each event, ensuring that we continually learn and develop to offer the best vendor experience.
  • Understand different commercial models that benefit both vendors and our events.
  • Work closely with our wider team, aligning with event creative and strategy, technical production, project management, sponsorship and marketing, collaborating to enhance the event experience and build value for our clients.
  • Attend our events and manage vendors on site, ensuring our projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Play an active role in post event debriefs and reporting to continually learn and develop our services and skills.

About you

You should be:

  • Passionate about F&B and retail.
  • Experienced in programming vendors for events, ideally large public events with several thousand attendees.
  • Able to demonstrate your previous success creating and developing engaging programmes and content.
  • Professional, independent and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage a team, set priorities and deadlines, and ensure that they are met.
  • Able to understand commercial aspects of a project including cost and revenue streams, how to balance them, and how to deliver a positive P&L.
  • Familiar with marketing and sponsorship, and how to use them to add value to vendors and to the project.
  • Able to present with confidence and presence.

As a minimum, you should have:

  • 5+ year’s experience in F&B or retail, ideally with a focus on events and programming.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Your application will be stronger if:

  • You are an influencer in your own right, or aspire to be one.
  • You understand event site logistics (permits, power, food hygiene etc).
  • Your personal brand is current and relevant.
  • You understand the importance of social media, content creation and how to use it to amplify audience engagement.
  • You can speak, read and write Arabic.
