About the Role
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the supporting the project management team across a wide range of events. This can include any aspect of the events including research, content curation, programming, sponsor activations, supplier management, permissions and permits, pitch writing etc.
Specifically, the Project Coordinator should:
- Take an active role in projects, focused on the allocated scope of work for each event.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. This includes other LINKVIVA teams, partners and suppliers, as well as our clients, licensing authorities, venues and other stakeholders.
- Be a point of contact for our internal team to help efficient communication flow throughout a project.
- Attend internal meetings to present and discuss project status and progress.
- Provide updates for the project plan and status reports when required.
- Complete allocated tasks on time and to the best of your ability to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of a project.
- Consider touchpoints throughout the project to enhance the overall participant experience.
- Assist with closing projects after delivery, including collating final budget reconciliations, post-event reports and debriefs.
About you
You should be:
- An experienced Project Coordinator looking for your next opportunity, or a recent graduate looking for your first role in the event industry.
- Able to demonstrate your enthusiasm for delivering outstanding events.
- Professional, independent and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills.
- Familiar with social media, and how to use them it to add value to a project.
As a minimum, you should have:
- 1+ year’s event management experience, or a relevant bachelors degree or similar qualification.
- Previous experience in the Middle East.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
Your application will be stronger if:
- A valid driving license.
- You can demonstrate a knowledge of current trends in F&B, retail, music, fashion, art or technology.
- You can speak Arabic.
